Dumbdown (Album)

Dumbdown is the full-length album by Berlin's cult mid-zeroes indie band Idiotchild, originally recorded in 2007 and now re-released.

Idiotchild was the artist name and then band name of Noel Maurice, who has since the zeroes performed as a solo artist. He has also written and published a novel about landing in Berlin in 1991, and runs indie.berlin and indierepublik.com.

The songs on the album are confessionals and speak about life as a squatter and survivor in the chaos of 90s Berlin.

All songs on the album are written by Noel Maurice except Bric-a-Brac, written by L.R. Benner.
